Questions about the prints.
How are they photos printed?
All the photos are printed by professionals on demand. The photos are printed on mat 210g Hahnemühle fine art paper using UV light. The UV light ensures that the print will last a lifetime without the colors or contrast fading. The mat surface is perfect for framing behind glass or even directly exposed to your indoor environment.
Is it possible to get prints in custom sizes or materials?
Yes and yes. All custom sizes are available upon request. It’s also possible to get prints on different materials like dibond or canvas:
Dibond is a thin aluminium sheet, which the photo is then printed straight onto using UV light. The final product is a beautiful and simple piece with a mat surface and can either be hung framed or by itself.
Canvas is a piece of fabric which the photo is printed onto and is then stretched out over a wooden frame. The surface is textured from the fibers in the fabric. Canvas can be hung either framed or by itself.
Yes, custom orders are always welcome. Only a small selection of my photos are setup on the website and most of my photos on my instagram is available upon request - contact@gjerluff.com
Do any shops carry the prints?
At this point I don't have any retailers of the larger prints. However, my photos can be found as postcards and smaller fine art prints in multiple shops along the Danish west coast:
